Balinco Bookkeeping Company ("Balinco", "we") provides bookkeeping services to small businesses. The Balinco Portal ("Portal") is a private, invite-only website where our clients view their reports and send us requests, and where our staff manage client work.

• Account details: names, email addresses and the company each user belongs to.
• Financial reports and figures pulled from the accounting and business systems a client connects (such as QuickBooks Online, Jobber and Shopify), plus notes, requests and files exchanged through the Portal.
• Account access details a client chooses to share with us so we can do the work. These are visible only to Balinco's owner and staff he has specifically authorized.
• Basic technical logs (sign-ins, errors) used to keep the Portal secure and working.

We do not sell, rent or trade client information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Balinco is a tax and financial-services provider, and we maintain a written information security program as required by the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 CFR Part 314) under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and in line with IRS guidance for tax professionals (IRS Publication 4557, Safeguarding Taxpayer Data). That program includes:

• A designated person responsible for information security.
• Access limited to the people who need it, with each client able to see only its own company.
• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, including connection tokens to outside systems and any account logins or payment cards a client shares with us.
• Individual logins for every person, with staff access granted one by one and removed when no longer needed.
• Reputable hosting providers with their own security controls.
• Regular review and testing of these safeguards, including automated checks that one client cannot see another's data.

If we learn of unauthorized access to client information, we will notify affected clients promptly and report to the FTC and other authorities where the law requires it.

Some Portal features (for example, report summaries and answering questions about a client's own figures) send the relevant data to xAI, our artificial-intelligence provider, for processing. Only the information needed for the request is sent, each client's data is kept separate, and xAI processes it under its API business terms. AI answers are informational and are reviewed by Balinco where they matter; they are not tax, legal or investment advice.

We use trusted providers to run the Portal: secure cloud hosting and database services, xAI for AI processing, and the accounting and business systems each client chooses to connect. They receive only what they need to provide their service.

We keep client information while we work together. When a client ends its engagement (offboarding), we disconnect its outside systems, remove its users' Portal access and, on request, delete its Portal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law or professional standards, which are kept securely only for the required period and then deleted. Source records remain in the client's own accounting system.

Clients may ask to see, correct or delete their information, or to disconnect an outside system, at any time by contacting us.

• The Portal is for Balinco clients and staff we invite. Keep your login private and tell us right away if you think it has been misused.
• Reports reflect the data in the client's connected systems at the time shown. Contact us before relying on them for major decisions.
• Do not try to access another company's information or interfere with the Portal.
• We may update the Portal or these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Our engagement letter with each client governs our services.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
